"On 5th July 2010 the Diocesan Youth Village was officially opened by Ant and Dec and blessed by Bishop Seamus Cunningham. About 400 invited guests gathered in the Youth Village Square for a varied programme including wecome speeches by Fr Dermott Donnelly and Bishop Seamus Cunningham, reading from Scripture by Bishop Emeritus Ambrose Griffiths, blessing of the Youth Village by Bishop Seamus Cunningham, unveiling of the commemorative marker by the family of Bishop Kevin Dunn, and an official opening of the Youth Village by Ant and Dec, of TV fame. |
